Con questo costume ho provato per la prima volta le selezioni del World Cosplay Summit (WCS) al Romics. Evangelion è stato il primo anime che ho guardato essendo consapevole che lo fosse, per questo occupa un posto speciale nel mio cuore. Ho avuto davvero un sacco di difficoltà nel preparare questo costume, all'inizio avevo comprato una catsuit rossa da usare come base della plugsuit, ma la stoffa non era "abbastanza lucida", quindi l'ho aperta tutta e l'ho usata come "cartamodello" per il prossimo tentativo. Ho comprato del PVC elastico ed era perfetto! Fare la tuta stessa non è stato troppo difficile, mi è bastato seguire il modello dato dalla precedente; la parte veramente tosta è stata cucirci sopra le strisce rosse... perchè essendo PVC la parte superiore è impossibile da cucire con la macchina!! Quindi l'ho dovuto fare tutto a mano!!! E' stato davvero lungo e difficile! (Anche perchè io faccio schifo a cucire a mano... ho dovuto chiedere un sacco di aiuto per quella parte). La mia amica Valechan mi ha mandato le "viti" per le spalle e i materiali per preparare i backpack, di cui sono molto soddisfatta. L'esibizione era davvero semplice e quando tutto era finito mi sono sentita come se avessi potuto dare molto di più, quindi ho iniziato a prepararmi subito per l'anno dopo! In questa convention ho incontrato per la prima volta di persone tre delle mie amiche francesi ed è lì che la nostra amicizia è sbocciata! E' stato molto stancante, ma ho imparato tanto!

This was my first ever attempt for the World Cosplay Summit (WCS) Selections at Romics. Evangelion was the first anime I watched after learning what an anime was and so it has a special place in my heart. I had big big troubles in preparing this costume. At first I had bought a red catsuit to use as a base for the plugsuit, but the fabric was not "shiny enough," so I opened all the suit and used it as "paper model" for the next attempt. I bought some elastic PVC and it was perfect! The suit itself was not too hard, I just had to follow the pattern given by the previous one; the hard part was sewing the black stripes ON it... because being PVC the upper part is quite impossible to sew with the sewing machine!! So it had to be done all by hand!!!! It was really long and difficult! (I really suck at sewing by hand... had to ask for a lot of help with that). My friend Valechan sent me the "screws" for the shoulders and the materials for the backpack, which I was pretty satisfied with. The exhibition was really simple, and when everything was over I really felt like I could do much better, so right away I started to prepare the costume for the next try! In this convention anyways was where I first met in person three of my french friends and that's where our friendship really blossomed! It was very tiring, but I learned a lot from it!
